Essential Responsibilities
The Operations Training Specialist will:
- Create, prepare, conduct, and maintain training on operational related topics, including traveling to branches and departments to provide in-person training, conference calls, and webinars/online training.
- Schedule and hold training to ensure new hires and internal transfers are obtaining the training they need while validating learning application is occurring and progressing.
- Evaluate information obtained from Retail Banking and Consumer Lending Operations as identified training opportunities to change, modify, and implement within procedures/policies/regulations, as well as making recommendations for training efficiency improvements.
- Create and publish training materials, handouts, tools, and other resources while applying a periodic review system to ensure all training remains compliant and current.
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrate the Bank’s core values: driven, dedicated, and engaged.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of experience in retail banking and consumer lending.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in business administration, human resource development, organizational development, education, or a related field.
- One year of experience conducting or developing training.
Job Requirements
- Reliable transportation to/from work.
- Sitting or standing for extended periods of time and requires ability to work and operate computer applications and equipment.
