SUMMARY
The LaSalle/Peru Branch Market Manager oversees branch sales and operations, driving growth in deposits, loans, insurance referrals, and customer service excellence. The role emphasizes acquiring new retail and business customers, strengthening existing relationships, and expanding financial products through proactive business development. Success is achieved by leading the branch sales team and coordinating with a dedicated group that includes Mortgage and Commercial Loan Officers and Insurance Agent. Together, the team works to meet sales, referral, and retention goals while ensuring full compliance with all regulations and Bank policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Service: Drive branch growth by developing new business, strengthening customer relationships, ensuring service excellence, and leading staff performance through coaching, goal setting, and product expertise.
Community Involvement: The Market Manager represents the Bank at community and business events, maintains professional memberships to support market development, and fosters team participation in networking activities to enhance visibility and strengthen relationships.
Branch Operations: Ensure operational efficiency, staff training, and full compliance with Bank policies, audit standards, and all applicable regulations in partnership with the Branch Operations Manager.
Management: Lead branch personnel by driving performance, managing growth, overseeing staff development, and aligning operations with organizational goals and compliance standards.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in the banking industry
- Experience in bank management, sales, or business development
- Commercial banking background a plus
- Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of success
- Established involvement and visibility within the local community
