What are the responsibilities and job description for the Processor position at First Federal Bank?
Essential Functions
- Includes setting up new loan files and following up on all verifications, appraisals and credit.
- Communicates with builders, realtors, appraisers, title company/attorney, credit bureau and customers to secure accurate verified information and provide loan status
- Validates loan documents and information conform to agency and investor guidelines.
- Prepares complete and accurate loan packages for underwriter review, portfolio and secondary market transactions.
- Sets up closings with customers and our closing department.
- Review residential loan application file to verify that application data is complete and meets establishment standards, including type and amount of mortgage, borrower assets, liabilities, and length of employment.
- Provides the best service to our customers with innovative and creative solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma, or equivalent required
- Excellent computer skills
- At least 3 years of current processing experience
- Good understanding of mortgage products and services
- Must have excellent communication skills, problem solving abilities, and math and calculation skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle and meet deadlines
- Extended periods of sitting and computer use may be required
