What You’ll Do
In this dynamic role, you’ll support both back-office operations and branch teams, ensuring smooth daily processes and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide branch coverage as needed in Financial Service Specialist roles
- Process daily operational tasks including:
- NSF decisioning, returns, large item review, and non-posted items
- Stop payments and fraud monitoring
- Handle debit card services (instant issue, disputes, limits, travel notices)
- Process wires (send/receive) and maintain wire agreements and logs
- Review transactions for fraud prevention and compliance
- Assist with levies, garnishments, and account documentation review
- Support remote deposit capture, mobile deposits, and ACH monitoring
- Perform cash ordering for branches
- Assist with online account opening and maintenance
- Support products/services like Card Valet, UChoose Rewards, and merchant services
- Answer incoming calls and assist customers or route to appropriate team members
- Maintain compliance with BSA/AML and banking regulations
- Deliver excellent customer service to both customers and internal teams
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple functions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred
- 2–4 years of banking or related experience (operations or branch experience strongly preferred)
- Working knowledge of:
- Bank operations and regulations
- Debits/credits and account reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and banking systems (Fiserv a plus)
