We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Licensed Behavioral Health Professional to join our dedicated mental health team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and treatment goals
- Provide individual, group, family, and youth therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, solution focused brief therapy etc.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute behavioral or emotional episodes effectively and safely
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans aligned with clinical guidelines and patient-centered goals; regularly update documentation in electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems
- Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy sessions while maintaining HIPAA compliance and clinical ethical standards
- Maintain accurate medical records, ensure compliance with clinical documentation standards, ICD coding requirements, and confidentiality regulations such as HIPAA
Qualifications
- Valid license as a Behavioral Health Professional (e.g., Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent) LIMITED LICENSE IS OKAY.
- Proven experience working with children, youth, individuals and families.
- Strong knowledge of psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and trauma-focused approaches
- Experience with crisis management, behavior management techniques, medical terminology related to mental health care, and clinical documentation standards
- Proficiency in telehealth therapy platforms and electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems; experience working in inpatient or outpatient settings preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams; excellent communication skills; commitment to ethical practice in accordance with clinical guidelines and HIPAA regulations
