Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
First Expressions Speech-Language Pathology Services, Inc. is looking for a dynamic and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who excels in motivating children to reach their fullest potential. This is a part-time to full-time build-out opportunity, ideal for a motivated clinician who is excited to help grow our Physical Therapy program. As our caseload continues to expand, this position is expected to transition into a full-time role. The ideal candidate is eager to collaborate with our Physical Therapist in developing and expanding our PT services while working alongside our team of SLPs, SLPAs, OTs, and COTAs to provide exceptional, interdisciplinary care to children with delayed motor development.

Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatment to a varied pediatric caseload under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Complete documentation in accordance with state and payer guidelines.
- Communicate treatment goals and progress with parents, caregivers, teachers, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Collaborate with therapists across disciplines to provide coordinated, high-quality care.
- Contribute to the continued development and growth of our Physical Therapy program.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
- DOJ background clearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Collaborative, team-oriented, and enthusiastic.
- Passion for working with children and helping them reach their fullest potential.
- Positive attitude and a desire to make therapy fun, engaging, and meaningful.
