Description:
The Bank Courier is responsible for the safe, timely, and confidential transportation of bank documents, cash items, and other sensitive materials between branch locations and designated service providers. This is a full-time position averaging 35 hours per week, requiring a high level of integrity, reliability, good driving record, and attention to security procedures.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
- Transport confidential materials between bank branches and the post office.
- Ensure all items are securely handled and delivered in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security of all transported materials.
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules while adapting to changing priorities as needed.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and required documentation.
- Comply with all bank security protocols, safety regulations, and driving laws.
- Communicate effectively with branch staff and operations personnel regarding deliveries and issues.
- Assist with additional operational or administrative tasks as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds as needed.
- Ability to drive for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
