First Docs is hiring Internal Medicine and Family Medicine physicians in New England to provide care in skilled nursing and rehab facilities with a predictable schedule, strong support, and meaningful clinical impact.
Compensation & Structure
- Independent contractor (1099) model with flexible scheduling
- Full-time earning potential of $300K–$500K annually, with top performers exceeding this range
- Part-time opportunities: $12K–$18K/month
- Additional income through Medical Directorships and APP supervision
- No nights, weekends, or call
What the Role Looks Like
- Manage care for patients in skilled nursing and rehab facilities
- Typically 1–2 facilities with a stable patient census
- Daily rounding with “round-and-go” flexibility
- Focus on proactive care, reducing hospital readmissions, and improving outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and facility leadership

Qualifications
