What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toddler Teacher Assistant position at First Cumberland Presbyterian Nursery?
- Be familiar with and uphold TN state licensing rules and regulations.
- Be familiar with and uphold center policies and procedures.
- Uphold center philosophy and conduct behavior in view of that
- Provide a safe and healthy learning environment
- Guide and enhance children’s play with language and a variety of materials and activities.
- Supervise and support children at all time, indoors and out
- Promote and model a clean environment
- Provide and maintain rules and routines
- Greet all parents and children in a friendly manner daily
- Maintain communication with parents daily
- Observe and record Children’s behavior
- Prepare monthly calendars and newsletters as well as weekly lesson plans
- Complete required trainings in a timely manner
