- Prepare monthly financial reports and monitor budget performance
- Supervise bookkeeping functions and ensure accurate financial records and reporting
- Administer payroll, employee benefits, personnel records, and related HR processes
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding
- Support annual budgeting, financial reviews, audits, and year-end reporting
- Maintain financial controls, administrative systems, and key documentation
- Provide stewardship reporting, giving trends, budget projections, and donor analytics
- Serve as liaison with accountants, auditors, payroll providers, insurers, financial institutions, and related vendors
- Support financial oversight related to the Congregational Preschool
- Experience in financial administration, accounting, bookkeeping supervision, payroll administration, HR administration, or a related field
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and spreadsheet software
- Experience with payroll systems such as Gusto or equivalent platforms
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, volunteers, committees, and church leadership
- Experience with nonprofit or church finances
- Experience with budgeting and financial reporting
- Experience with employee benefits administration
- Experience with fund accounting, restricted funds, and charitable giving records
