What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Credit Analyst Intern position at First Community Credit Union - Houston, TX?
First Community Credit Union (FCCU) is offering an eleven week, full-time (40 hr/week) paid internship opportunity based in Houston, TX for an individual looking to pursue a career in Commercial lending. This internship will be starting 6/08/2024 and ending 8/07/2024.
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in wide range of lending duties and functions while working to advance our organization’s practices. This will be done through knowledge and understanding of various loan review processes and determining the creditworthiness of applicants. They will learn the process for approving or denying loans as authorized in lending guidelines as well as the process for submitting potentially approvable loans that are outside of normal guidelines to designated higher level lending authority.
Interns will learn the process for approving or denying loans as authorized in lending guidelines as well as the process for submitting potentially. Our interns will also assist the various lending personnel to understand the risk of fraud and learn how to detect and report potential fraud. They will also gain an understanding of acceptable levels of risk, methods of risk mitigation, and applying these principles in the decision-making process.
Requirements:
Pursing a Bachelor’s degree in Business with emphasis in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or general business
