What are the responsibilities and job description for the Application Specialist - Deposit Services - Balancing position at First Commonwealth Bank?
**Candidate must reside in PA or OH to be eligible for Telecommuting.
Responsible for identifying and clearing any exceptions and aged reconcilement items in a timely manner and adhering to the internal aged item escalation procedure. Responsibilities for this position include multiple application reconcilements, such as the Loan, Deposit, Credit Card and ATM applications. This includes the reconcilement of the suspense accounts and all related ancillary accounts. Additional responsibilities include researching non-posted items and preparing the non-posted items for re-entry via maintenance requests or data entry sheets. Ensures all reconcilements are completed by the departments established timelines and according to Operational procedures. Also responds to inquiries for information from various departments as well as associated third parties.
Meetings with other departments are required to assist in the research of transactions for accurate posting.

5. Complies with regulations and laws relating to the function of the position.
6. Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to the requests from customers, other bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.
7. Supports the organization’s commitment to ongoing quality service enhancement by participating in multi-disciplined guidance and project teams, as appropriate.
8. Abides by current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment, which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.

13. Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the unit or department as well as with other units and departments in order to insure the smooth and efficient flow of information.

Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications___________________________
1. High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in Accounting or related field is preferred
2. Above average analytical ability.

4. Ability to comply with established budgets and operate within budgetary constraints.
