About the Role
We’re looking for an Associate Financial Advisor to join our team and grow into a full advisory role. This position is ideal for someone who is motivated to learn, build relationships, and develop their own book of business while being mentored by a senior CFP®.
What You’ll Do
- Support the senior advisor in client meetings, plan preparation, and follow-up
- Begin seeing and servicing your own clients, with guidance and oversight
- Build and manage a personal book of business over time
- Assist with data gathering, financial plan updates, and account servicing
- Learn and apply First Command’s financial planning and coaching process
- Develop new client relationships through referrals, outreach, and community engagement
- Earn bonuses and commissions for bringing in new business and deepening client relationships
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance standards are met
- Progressively take ownership of client conversations and recommendations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree desired (finance, business, economics, or related field preferred)
- Desire to build a personal book of business
- Ability to obtain required licenses (Series 7, Series 66, Life & Health, etc.)
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
- High integrity and a client-first mindset
Prior financial services experience is a plus, but not required—we will train the right person.
