As a Floater Teacher, you'll play an important role in creating a warm, safe, and engaging space where children can learn, grow, and thrive. You'll support classroom activities, assist with daily routines, and help nurture young learners during their most important developmental years. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and professional growth.
What You'll Do:
- Support classrooms with supervision and daily activities
- Help maintain a safe, caring, and stimulating learning environment
- Assist with diapering and potty training as needed
- Help carry out age-appropriate lessons and hands-on activities
- Follow all licensing guidelines and school policies
- Build positive relationships with families through open communication
What We're Looking For:
- DCF 45 Hours (preferred)
- First Aid & CPR Certification
- CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred, not required)
- Prior experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
