Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a broad range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws. This role requires strategic thinking and excellent communication skills to support organizational goals and foster a positive workplace culture. The Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in implementing HR initiatives that enhance workforce management and organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Oversee talent acquisition processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees using ATS systems such as Workday, Taleo, or iCIMS.
- Administer employee benefits programs and manage benefits-related inquiries using platforms like Paychex, ADP, or Paylocity.
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, and workers' compensation policies.
- Manage employee orientation, evaluation, performance management, and training & development initiatives.
- Support change management efforts and assist in organization design and workforce planning strategies.
- Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality, including conflict management and resolution.
- Maintain HRIS data accuracy through effective data entry and data collection practices in systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or PeopleSoft.
- Assist with affirmative action planning, succession planning, and HR sourcing strategies to promote diversity and inclusion.
- Administer leave programs such as FMLA and manage compliance with legal requirements related to employment & labor law.
- Support HR projects related to strategic planning, HR management initiatives, and process improvements using project management best practices.
- Prepare reports on HR metrics and workforce analytics to inform decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in human resources management or a related field with strong knowledge of human capital management practices.
- Knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, workers' compensation policies, and compliance standards.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with recruiting tools like ATS systems (iCIMS, Lever) and social media management for talent sourcing is advantageous.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Excellent organizational skills with experience in data entry, project management, and administrative functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field is preferred; professional HR certifications are a plus.
