Responsibilities
- Prepare subfloor surfaces by demoing, cleaning, leveling, and repairing as needed to ensure proper adhesion of flooring materials
- Measure and cut flooring materials accurately using hand tools and power tools, following detailed blueprints and schematics
- Install various types of flooring including laminate, lvp , enginere, tile, and vct with attention to detail and quality standards
- Use caulking, trimming, and finishing techniques to create seamless transitions
- Conduct inspections throughout the project to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality expectations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in flooring installation or related construction roles with a strong understanding of construction site practices
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and safety procedures on construction sites
- Knowledge of various flooring materials installations
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs
