What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher position at First Class Early Learning Center?
We are seeking an Early Childhood Teacher who believes in play-based learning and supports social–emotional development through mindfulness, meditation, and child-friendly yoga. Our program serves infants through transitional kindergarten and emphasizes high-quality interactions, intentional teaching, and a calm, nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based activities
- Incorporate SEL, mindfulness, meditation, and yoga into daily routines
- Support positive behavior guidance and emotional coaching
- Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom
- Observe, assess, and document developmental progress
- Communicate professionally with families and team members
Qualifications
- 12 ECE units required (Infant/Toddler units for applicable positions)
- Experience with SEL, mindfulness, or yoga preferred
- Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practice
- Strong teamwork, communication, and professionalism.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
