What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Glass Technician (Assistant) position at First Class Auto Glass?
Hiring an entry level auto glass technician. No experience necessary but must be over 18 and have mechanical skills, take clear directions and be willing to learn.
Duties will include assisting our lead technician on the job and in shop. Will learn how to repair and replace windshields, door, quarter, vent and back glasses on customers' vehicles. Will inspect windshields and windows to determine whether the glass should be repaired or replaced. This is an entry-level position for someone that wants to learn the trade. We are fast growing independent shop located in Burlington, WA looking for someone to assist us as we keep up with the demand. Position includes the possibility of advancement. Must be able to communicate with customers, completing all necessary paperwork. Keep all work areas tidy before, during and after repairs. This includes customer locations, vans and in shop.
Hours: 30-40 a week
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Wages: $19 (DOE)

Requirements
- Must be 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Good dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Must be able to lift 25-50lbs (when moving glass/parts)
- Detail-oriented.
- Organized.
- Willing to learn.
