Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic LCSW therapist to join our dynamic mental health/SUD team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive addiction counseling and mental health support to individuals struggling with substance use issues. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing modalities such as psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, and applied behavior analysis.
• Implement motivational interviewing techniques to foster motivation for change and support recovery efforts.
• Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical records standards while maintaining confidentiality.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management, medical documentation, and behavioral health plans to optimize patient outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development related to addiction counseling

Qualifications

• Valid LCSW with active state certification.
• Proven experience in clinical counseling/therapy within outpatient or inpatient settings
• Strong knowledge of behavioral health therapies including psychotherapeutic techniques such as CBT, psychodynamic therapy, grief counseling, and trauma-informed care.
• Excellent crisis intervention skills combined with strong behavior management capabilities.
• Experience working with medical terminology and managing medical records securely under HIPAA guidelines.
