Duties
- Supervise and care for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that support childhood development and learning
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment at all times
- Observe and document each child's progress, behaviors, and needs to inform ongoing care strategies
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily experiences and developmental milestones
- Assist with meal times, diapering, nap schedules, and other daily routines
- Enforce classroom rules and behavior management techniques to promote positive social interactions
Skills
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Ability to provide infant care, toddler care, and preschool instruction with patience and enthusiasm
- Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued
- Strong classroom management skills to foster a respectful and engaging environment
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, team members, and children
- Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities with compassion, patience, and professionalism
