We are currently seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for per diem and potential local contract roles. We are looking for candidates in the Hampton Roads area and nearby locations. Our opportunities are available in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Newport News, Hampton, and Williamsburg.

REQUIREMENTS :

Covid Vaccination Required

Minimum of 1 Year Experience

BLS / CPR Certification

Updated PPD (within 1 year)

Active LPN / CNA License

Ability to Lift at Least 50 Pounds

Capacity to Stand and Walk for Extended Periods

Ability to Bend and Lift Without Restrictions

The ideal candidates will provide compassionate care to patients with various needs. This role requires physical stamina and mental resilience, but offers the rewarding opportunity to make a difference in patients' lives.

CNA RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to) :

Accurately record patient medical histories

Take and document vital signs

Monitor patient conditions including fluid intake and output

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)

Collect laboratory samples as required

Provide emotional support to patients

Communicate effectively with patients' families

LPN RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to) :

Delegate duties effectively to CNAs

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Provide wound care following medical directives

Admit and discharge patients in accordance with protocols

Conduct ongoing patient assessments

Educate patients and families about medications and treatments

Familiarity with G-tubes, nebulizer treatments, and tracheostomies

SKILLS :

Proven experience as CNA or LPN

Ability to perform diverse care tasks and work collaboratively

Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards

Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices

Excellent medical and hospital terminology knowledge

Proficiency in MS Office and data entry

Strong physical condition and stamina

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Compassionate and stress resilient

Successful completion of LPN or CNA program is essential
