Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Pontotoc, MS. The Salesperson will engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their insurance needs, explain coverage options, and recommend appropriate policies. Daily responsibilities include making outbound calls, responding to inquiries, scheduling and conducting in-person or phone consultations, and preparing quotes. The role also involves processing applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and following up on leads to meet individual and agency sales goals. The Salesperson will collaborate with office staff to ensure timely customer service, stay current on product and policy changes, and participate in ongoing training and local community outreach activities.
- Strong sales and customer service skills, including the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and communicate policy information clearly.
- Comfort with outbound calling, lead follow-up, and closing sales in a target-driven environment.
- Basic proficiency with computers, CRM or agency management systems, and standard office software.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts and tasks at once.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and reliability when handling confidential client information.
- Ability to work on-site in Pontotoc, MS, collaborate with a small team, and interact with a diverse customer base.
- Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or sales is required.
- Property and Casualty Insurance license is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.
