What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA/PCA position at First Choice Home Care LLC?
Perform general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, cleaning, dusting, mopping, picking up/taking out the trash. Assist with laundering, ironing, and changing bed linens. Prepares shopping list, purchases and put up groceries, prepare and serve meals. Cleans the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots and pans. Cleans and operates equipment in the home such as the vacuum cleaner, stove, refrigerator, washer, dryer, and other small appliances. Assist clients with personal hygiene including bathing, dressing, mouth and denture care, shaving and finger and toe nail care (NO CUTTING), and hair grooming. Assist clients with mobility including ambulation, transfers, and body position change. Assist clients with toileting-bedpan, commode chair, or urinal (empties and cleans). Complete activity sheets neatly and accurately by following the care plan. Comply with all the home care program's policies and procedures. CNA, PCA, or 2 years prior home care experience working with the aged and/or disabled. Must provide at least 2 professional references and pass a criminal background check.
