Chiropractor

First Choice Health Centers is seeking a dedicated Chiropractor to join our team, providing high-quality, patient-centered chiropractic care. The Chiropractor will be responsible for delivering non-surgical, drug-free treatments, such as spinal adjustments, to help patients manage physical pain and improve mobility. This role requires a professional with strong skills in assessing and diagnosing neuromusculoskeletal conditions and developing personalized care plans that incorporate lifestyle factors like diet, sleep, and exercise.

• Primarily Monday through Friday schedule working 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. There is one late night until 6 pm on Tuesday but you will get out on Friday at 3 pm.
• The annual salary range for this position is $80k - $110k. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience certifications, etc.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

• Commitment to quality patient care and continuous professional improvement.
• Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail in documentation and compliance.
• Flexibility to adapt to patient needs and agency requirements, including possible night and weekend shifts.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and engage patients
• Skilled in diagnosing and treating conditions related to the muscles, bones, and nervous system to support patient mobility and pain management.

Experience and Training:

• Doctorate in Chiropractic from an accredited program
• Valid Connecticut Chiropractic License
• State narcotic registration
• Experience in Community Health preferred
• CPR/BLS certification

Standard Job Duties:

• Collect and document patient health histories, including developmental and psychosocial backgrounds, and conduct comprehensive physical exams. Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Perform comprehensive physical exams and accurately record patient medical history and examination results.
• Perform therapeutic procedures and manage patient care plans, documenting all progress notes to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide treatment and care following established agency standards and protocols, ensuring quality care for each patient.
• Coordinate with community health nurses, mental health professionals, social workers, and other resources to manage complex cases and provide comprehensive care.
• Educate and counsel patients on treatment plans, lifestyle changes, health maintenance, and family planning.

• Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and Executive team on utilization management, data retrieval, and policy updates.
• Assist with the training and education of on-site students and new healthcare providers.
