Duties
- Measure, cut, and install diverse flooring materials including hardwood, vinyl, and tile, and baseboards according to project specifications and technical drawings
- Prepare subfloors by leveling surfaces, applying underlayments, and ensuring proper adhesion for long-lasting results
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to perform flooring installation, refinishing, caulking, and trim carpentry tasks
- Follow building installation safety compliance standards diligently to maintain a safe work environment at all times
- Assist with demolition, site preparation, and cleanup activities to support seamless project workflows
Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in flooring installation.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools specific to flooring work while adhering to safety protocols
- Construction site experience demonstrating ability to work efficiently within remodeling or renovation projects
