Commercial Driver's License Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various heavy-duty trucks and vehicles to deliver goods, materials, and equipment efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in commercial driving, vehicle operation, and load handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of trucks, including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers to transport goods and materials.
• Load and unload cargo using mechanical knowledge of different truck types and lifting techniques.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities.
• Assist with manual loading or heavy lifting tasks as needed to ensure efficient delivery operations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle types operated.
• Proven experience in commercial driving, especially with delivery routes involving heavy trucks such as dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers.
• Mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks and familiarity with front loader, rear loader, roll-off, and dump truck operations.
• Ability to perform manual lifting and handle heavy loads safely.
• Experience with load & unload procedures using different truck types; knowledge of roll-off containers is a plus.
• Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; proficiency in manual transmission vehicles preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy vehicle operation and transportation logistics.
