Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
  • Manage regulatory reporting obligations, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), risk analysis protocols, and governmental accounting requirements.
  • Direct treasury functions including cash flow analysis, investment management, and cost control initiatives to optimize financial resources.
  • Supervise the preparation of detailed financial reports, interpret complex data analytics using advanced tools like Excel data analysis and data analytics software to inform leadership decisions.
  • Oversee risk management processes related to financial operations, including risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and internal controls.
  • Lead a high-performing finance team by providing strategic guidance on financial concepts such as profit & loss analysis, cost accounting, and financial model development to support organizational growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in finance leadership roles with extensive knowledge of IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS, GAAP, and industry-specific financial regulations.
  • Strong background in corporate finance, governmental accounting, non-profit accounting, and public sector financial management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk analysis, compliance management, regulatory reporting, and treasury management.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and financial software; advanced skills in Excel data analysis and financial modeling are essential.
  • Exceptional strategic planning abilities combined with technical proficiency in cost management, revenue recognition (ASC 606), budget development, and forecasting techniques.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience managing finance teams focused on technical accounting, audit processes, and financial operations.
  • Ability to interpret complex financial reports accurately while communicating insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
