Job Summary:
The Relationship Banker will provide account services to customers by receiving deposits and loan payments, cashing checks, processing withdrawals for a variety of account holders, completing applicable withdrawals from accounts, recording night deposits and mail deposits, --- also include new accounts and business accounts.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Cash checks and disburses funds after verifying signatures and sufficiency of funds to support withdrawals.
· Accept deposits, confirming accuracy of transaction, including not in person deposits.
· Open new deposit accounts for new and/or existing customers (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, money market, Safe Deposit Boxes, etc.) **New Hires subject to 90-Day Probation on Accounts
· Prepare, verify, and issue cashiers’ checks, bank, and loan checks.
· Enter transactions in the bank’s recordkeeping system, recording all transactions and producing customer receipts.
· Evaluate checks to verify endorsements, dates, identification of persons receiving payments, bank names, and overall legality of the documents.
· Identify and capitalize on opportunities to promote new banking services.
· Scan and index applicable documents
· Order checks, create or order debit cards.
· On a quarterly basis, assist with Branch Audit Checklist as applicable.
· Maintain a work area that ensures the safety of all confidential records.
· Provide excellent customer service.
· Complete bank assigned training in a timely manner.
· Participate in community events.
· Participation in bank campaigns.
· Other projects as assigned.
Skills:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Prior cash handling or banking experience preferred.
· Time Management Skills.
Education Requirements:
· High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Pay: $20.00 - $20.50 per hour
