What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Manager - Courtyard by Marriott Burlington position at First Carolina Management Inc.?
FCM Hotels and the Courtyard by Marriott Burlington, NC are seeking an experienced General Manager. Prior hotel GM experience is required. Marriott and/or Hilton prior GM experience is preferred.
The right candidate will have the capability to take the hotel to the highest level of customer service, cleanliness and guest satisfaction, provide day-to-day leadership and direction by maximizing financial returns, driving development of people, creating and maintain a unique guest experience, marketing/sales, executing brand standards and building awareness of the hotel and brand in the local community.
-All candidates must have a minimum of five years’ experience in hotel operations
-A self-starter with proven supervisory experience in the hotel industry
-Flexibility to work a variety of schedules and hours as business dictates
-Energetic with excellent customer service skills
-Ability to develop team member to their fullest potential
-Ability to multi-task and problem solve with a positive attitude
-Hampton Inn and Hilton hotel experience is a plus
-Be able to analyze financials to drive revenues, future profitability and maximize market share
