Maintenance Technician (Temporary – Potential for Full-Time)
Location: Indianapolis, IN NW side
Schedule: 1st Shift — Monday–Thursday 6:00am–2:30pm; Friday 5:00am–1:30pm (Overtime & Saturdays as needed)
Pay Range: $25–$29 per hour
Duration: Approximately 3 months, with the possibility of full-time employment

We are currently seeking a Temporary Maintenance Technician to support upcoming projects for one of our Indianapolis-based clients. This individual will primarily assist with the installation of new manufacturing equipment and provide ongoing maintenance support within the facility.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to follow precise instructions, and comfortable working both independently and within a team environment. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on plant equipment
- Order and maintain spare parts inventory
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and fixtures
- Measure, cut, thread, bond, assemble, and install electrical conduit
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools
- Apply mechanical and electrical expertise to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities
- Safely handle and properly store hazardous waste (annual training required)
- Support broader facility operations as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Maintain consistent, reliable attendance; may be required to work nights, weekends, and extended hours as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- 2–3 years of related maintenance experience
- Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
- Plumbing or electrical experience preferred
Skills:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency using electrical and mechanical tools
- Self-directed with strong work ethic
- Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment
Education:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- A combination of education and experience sufficient for successful job performance
- Must be able to pass a background and drugscreen
