What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer position at First Call Restoration LLC?
Pay: $17 to $24 per hour, based on experience
We are looking for a dependable general laborer who is willing to work hard and learn construction. Little to no experience is required. Construction knowledge is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
This is a physical, hands on position. We need someone who follows instructions, keeps moving, and is willing to help with whatever the job requires.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Able to lift and move more than 60 pounds consistently
- Comfortable working in crawlspaces, roofs, on ladders, and in confined areas
- Willing to get dirty and perform physically demanding work
- Able to follow instructions carefully
- Reliable and able to show up on time
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Construction experience is helpful but not required
Responsibilities:
- Assist with demolition, cleanup, hauling materials, and general construction work
- Carry and move tools, equipment, debris, and building materials
- Work in crawlspaces and other tight or dirty areas
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
- Follow instructions from the crew lead
- Learn basic construction skills and proper tool use
- Help with water damage restoration, drywall, flooring, painting, framing, and other repairs
- Work hours are roughly 8am-4pm
