1. Job Title
Store Manager — First Call Auto Care
2. About the Role
Lead a busy, people-first service center where success is measured by stronger teams and happier customers. As Store Manager, you’ll take Extreme Ownership: empower your team, solve for process improvements, and turn challenges into opportunities to build leaders and sustainable performance.
3. What You'll Do
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team of technicians and service advisors; set clear expectations and model the behavior you expect.
- Hold twice-monthly one-on-ones to coach, develop career paths, and keep connection with each team member.
- Use audits (tickets, calls, inspections) as coaching moments—identify root causes and train, don’t blame.
- Own problems end-to-end: diagnose process gaps, implement fixes, and follow through until the system improves.
- Run daily huddles and weekly leadership reviews to align culture, priorities, and results across the store.
- Review and report metrics weekly, turning sales and operational numbers into focused coaching and next-step plans.
- Create and sustain a culture of pride, accountability, teamwork, and exceptional customer experience.
4. What We're Looking For
- 3 years in an automotive or service leadership role with demonstrated results.
- Strong people and communication skills—you coach, mentor, and inspire rather than command.
- Proven ability to develop talent and shape a positive, performance-oriented culture.
- A mindset of ownership and continuous improvement; you act decisively and learn quickly from setbacks.
- Comfortable with operational KPIs (sales, ARO, GP%, labor efficiency) and using them to drive coaching and priorities.
- Strategic, big-picture thinker who delegates detail work and focuses on outcomes and systems.
- Resilient and committed — you bring consistent energy and follow-through through busy seasons and change.
5. Benefits
- Competitive pay plus performance-based incentives and semi-annual profit sharing.
- Paid time off, paid holidays, health insurance, and a health reimbursement.
- 3% retirement match with 401(k) and additional employee discounts.
- A people-first environment that values growth, gratitude, and ownership.
