Key Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Systems Engineer at First Brands Group, you will be responsible for rigging and moving equipment, working in an industrial environment with exposure to noise, possible temperature extremes, dirt, solvents, paper dust, etc. You will also maintain satisfactory records of attendance and conduct, and be available to work any shift and overtime as needed. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing, installing, and repairing power transmission systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, ductwork, machine structure, guarding, indexers, cam systems, valves, pulleys, gearboxes, belts, conveyor components, couplings, shafts & bearings, installation, and repair of mechanical automation components of all types.

- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in plant maintenance or a related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent GED.
- Lift material up to 60#, with the ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints.
