Facilities Manager
Position Summary
Oversee the building and grounds property management at First Baptist Sherman by performing maintenance and managing the existing subcontract janitorial and landscape contractors.
Time Commitment
Part-time
20-hours per week
Education/Experience
■ 2 years prior experience in maintenance/building services
Qualifications/Skills
■ Committed follower of Christ
■ Ability to speak English
■ Must pass drug screen and background check
■ Basic mechanical experience required
■ Ability to work with hand tools and work from ladders, or scaffolds when needed
■ Ability to work in a team environment and interface with church staff
Responsibilities and Duties
Janitorial
o Oversee and manage janitorial services
o Ensure the church facilities are clean, orderly, and prepared for regular use and special events
Facility
o Ensure room setups are completed for church events and ministry activities
o Oversee and manage the landscape contractor
o Track and schedule required inspections for building systems, including fire equipment and systems, backflow preventers, HVAC, and other facility systems.
o Respond to staff requests related to facility needs
o Work with outside contractors and church volunteers on major repairs and new installations
o Assist the church Properties Committee with maintenance, repairs, and facility-related projects as needed
Maintenance

Pay: $22.00 per hour
