What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School Program Van Driver position at First Baptist Church of Norman?
- Safely pick up children from 3 to 4 elementary schools in Norman.
- Have an enjoyment of working with children and a positive, encouraging attitude.
- Have safety as a number one priority.
- Will be required to pass an online training and in-person driving test if hired.
Must be 21 years of age or older with a clean driving record, and able to pass a background check.
Must be comfortable driving a 15-passenger van.
Must be available from 2:00/2:15 - 3:20/3:30 Monday through Friday. I will consider 3 to 4 days' worth of availability as well if you are unable to do 5 days a week.
We follow the Norman Public Schools Calendar. The first day of school is August 13th.
**Drivers are paid by the day. Each driver receives $25 each day they drive. Routes take about 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes.**
