Floater (Full-Time)
First Baptist Child Development Center | Clayton, NC
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Do you have a passion for working with young children and enjoy a fast-paced, team-oriented environment? First Baptist Clayton Child Development Center is looking for a dependable, energetic Floater to support classrooms serving children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Support teachers in multiple classrooms throughout the day.
- Provide active supervision and ensure the safety and well-being of children.
- Assist with meals, diapering, toileting, playground time, rest time, and daily classroom routines.
- Build positive relationships with children through play and meaningful interactions.
- Help maintain clean, organized classrooms while following all NC Child Care regulations.
Requirements
- A current North Carolina Child Care Qualifying Letter is REQUIRED. Applicants without a valid Qualifying Letter will not be considered.
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
- Experience working in a licensed child care facility is preferred.
- Must be dependable, flexible, and able to actively engage with children throughout the day.
- Must be able to lift children and participate in all classroom activities.
- Must support the Christian mission and values of First Baptist Child Development Center.
