Must be able to start immediately. This is contract and temporary work.
Work environments vary by industry and establishment size; some inspectors examine similar products for an entire shift, while others examine a variety of items.
- Must be able to stand, bend, and lift at least 30 lbs. for the entire duration of your shift.
- Safety vest and other required PPE are required to be worn throughout the shift.
LOCATION: Lansing, MI
SHIFTS:
- 1ST SHIFT: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday -Saturday (8-10 hour shifts) ,$18.00 per hour.
- 2ND SHIFT: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM or until end of production, Monday -Saturday (8-10 hour shifts), $18.00 per hour.
- Paid biweekly.
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FULL SHIFT.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Requirements:
Quality Control Inspectors typically do the following:
- Visually or physically inspect parts to see if they meet customer specifications and record the information.
- Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
- Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
- Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.
- Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
- Operate electronic inspection equipment and software.
- Accept or reject finished items.
- Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
- Report inspection and test data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected.
