Job Summary
The Director, Worship and Creative Arts will report directly to the Executive Pastor and will oversee worship leaders, vocalists, and band members of the worship team for all areas of the St. Peters campus, and all creative elements for services and special events at First Assembly Church. This is a strategic position that requires creative thinking, teaching skills, strong leadership and development of volunteers, project management and event coordination skills.
Primary Duties:
· Strategic leadership of all worship and creative arts ministries, including but not limited to Band, Vocalists, Creative Elements during services and special events.
· Identify, equip, coach, and provide care to musicians, vocalists, and volunteer teams to support the ministries.
· Prepare and plan accurate budgets to maintain and acquire worship team technology, support church events and yearly projects.
· Collaborate with Technology Director to insure cohesive and complete worship service experiences, technology updates and
· Provide leadership development for volunteers and key volunteer leaders for them to grow spiritually and technically in their talents and skills.
· Plans and executes the worship services, including all team trainings, special events.
· Identify upcoming talent and develop evaluation processes and onboarding procedures to prepare volunteers to join the team.
· Weekly Practices and prayer sessions with team to assure well prepared and executed worship experiences that lead people into worship.
· Design training materials and training sessions for staff, volunteers, and team members
· Attend essential mtgs and perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Pastor or Lead Pastor.
· Pastoral Care
· Serve within the doctrinal commitments of the church.
· Other Duties as Assigned

Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in music, education, theology, or equivalent experience.
· Experience with PCO, preferred
· Five or more years of experience in Christian Ministry or Christian Education
· Pastoral credentials with the Assemblies of God or the ability to acquire them within 2 years of hire.
Work Environment:
· Normal Office Environment
· Office Hours Mon – Thurs 9:00AM – 5:00PM
· Attendance is required at all First Assembly Church corporate services 60 minutes prior to service.
· Some additional off hours work may be required due to projects, support and assistance with team goals.
