Position Summary
Cashiers are the “face” of the Co-op in their daily interactions with customers and are responsible for creating a positive customer experience for shoppers while at First Alternative. They are in charge of accurately ringing up customer purchases, providing excellent customer service, and informing customers about owner shares and other various programs offered by the Co-op. Being friendly, accurate, upholding policies and procedures, and being able to remain calm during somewhat stressful situations are key requirements for this position.
