Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 8 years of relevant electrical engineering design experience in building systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred; EIT required if not yet licensed.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and standard electrical design/calculation tools.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE, NFPA, Title 24, and other applicable codes and standards.
- Experience with power distribution, lighting, controls, emergency systems, and coordination with utility requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, mentor staff, and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong written, verbal, and client communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in industrial/manufacturing, cold storage, automotive, aerospace, medical, or education facilities.
- Knowledge of low-voltage systems, fire alarm systems, and communication systems.
- Experience with construction administration and field coordination.
- Project management or team leadership experience in a multidisciplinary A/E environment.
