Position Summary
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Radiologist to join a high-volume healthcare system. This role involves performing a wide range of minimally invasive, image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform minimally invasive, image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Conduct both vascular and non-vascular interventions
- Perform procedures including:
- Biopsies
- Drain placements
- Catheter insertions
- Embolization procedures
- Manage and maintain dialysis access interventions
- Perform procedures such as:
- Paracentesis
- Thoracentesis
- Biliary interventions and related procedures
- Evaluate patients pre- and post-procedure
- Interpret diagnostic imaging relevant to interventional cases
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
- Participate in on-call coverage as required
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and clinical teams
- Adhere to all quality, safety, and regulatory standards
Qualifications Required
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology
- Active or eligible U.S. medical license
- Active DEA registration
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong procedural and clinical expertise
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred
- Prior experience in a hospital-based interventional radiology setting
- Expertise in vascular interventions and advanced image-guided procedures
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
