Role Description
The Commercial Property Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hollywood, FL. This role takes ownership of the day-to-day operations of a multi-property commercial portfolio of office and retail properties, serving as the primary point of contact for tenants, vendors, and ownership.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing tenant relationships, lease administration, and lease compliance — including tracking critical dates, renewals, and maintaining accurate lease and tenant records
- Coordinating vendors, service contracts, maintenance, and repairs to keep properties well-presented and compliant with applicable regulations
- Overseeing CAM reconciliations, operating budgets, rent collections, and financial reporting on property performance
- Conducting regular property inspections and managing capital improvement projects
- Handling tenant correspondence, notices, inquiries, and move-in/move-out processes with prompt, professional resolution
- Supporting lease negotiations and collaborating closely with ownership and internal teams to enhance tenant satisfaction and optimize property value
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of commercial property management experience, preferably in office and/or retail properties
- Strong lease administration experience, including tracking key dates, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with lease terms
- Working knowledge of CAM reconciliations, budgets, rent rolls, and basic financial reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders; a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through on tasks and commitments
- Proficiency with property management software is beneficial
- Florida CAM license or real estate license a plus
- Associate or bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial
