Our growing company is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Social Media Specialist. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates who do not necessarily have all the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee social media campaigns, ensuring they align with client objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across multiple platforms for multiple clients to achieve client goals and objectives.
  • Manage day-to-day social media activities including content creation, posting, community engagement, and analytics.
  • Create and curate engaging content (text, image, video) for social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) that resonates with target audiences.
  • Execute a monthly results-driven social media calendar and strategy for multiple clients across multiple industries.
  • Analyze performance metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns and optimize strategies accordingly.
  • Review analytics, create reports, and review key metrics with clients on a quarterly basis to Identify successes and struggles.
  • Present and communicate social campaigns and deliverables to clients professionally and effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., content creators, designers, account managers) to ensure alignment and integration of social media initiatives with overall marketing efforts.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, opportunities, and conversations relevant to clients' industries.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to continuously improve social media strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
  • Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and some HTML
  • Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space.
  • Strong copy-writing and copy-editing skills.
  • Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills
  • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
  • At least 3 years experience with B2C social media marketing or content development.
  • Direct experience using social media management tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) Experience with Canva (Photoshop) or equivalent.
