Description
This entry level position is considered a trainee who is learning the mechanics of fire sprinkler system. This position will assist with installing Sprinkler Systems & the performance of routine testing under direct supervision. This position installs and tests sprinkler systems under the close guidance of a Foreman. Position receives guidance and direction regarding day-to-day work tasks from a Foreman.

This position installs and tests sprinkler systems under the close guidance of a Foreman. Position receives guidance and direction regarding day-to-day work tasks from a Foreman.
Requirements
Channel locks & tape measure is required
- Be available to support technicians
- Must have the ability to learn to read a set of Sprinkler Design prints and install accordingly
- Excellent communication skills required
- Cut, thread, groove, join, and secure piping using proper tools and techniques.
- Must be able to perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, working in ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
- After-hours overtime and weekend work as needed based on customer demands
- Valid Driver’s license
- Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
