PRODUCTION SPECIALIST - SECOND SHIFT
Job Description:
The Production Specialist plays a critical role in FireSprint’s production and finishing processes, ensuring high-quality printed materials are created and delivered to clients on time. This position spans responsibilities across printing, finishing, and shipping operations, requiring attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to meeting client specifications. Reporting to the shift Production Supervisors, the Production Specialist supports FireSprint’s mission to provide exceptional products while maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all production tasks as outlined on job tickets, including printing, cutting, laminating, and quality checks.
- Conduct routine cleaning, replenishment of consumables, and basic maintenance of equipment.
- Package finished products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client instructions.
- Communicate effectively with team members to address challenges and ensure smooth workflow.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Perform quality control checks to identify and resolve defects before products are shipped.
Requirements:
- Ability to learn and understand large-format flatbed and roll printers, laminators, and cutting machines.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift and/or move large sheets, rolls and boxes up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Specific vision abilities, including close vision and accurate color recognition.
