Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
Float Required: Med/Surg or Tele or IMC
Pay: $15/hr $1670 per diem
Gross: $2210/week
Requirement
2 years of ICU experience
AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
Accepts 1st time travelers
RN License
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and documentation of patient progress.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Utilize advanced nursing skills such as IV infusion, suturing, airway management, and dialysis as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in triage and emergency response situations as required.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Assist with critical procedures including cardiac catheterization, ventilator management, and acute pain management.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards within the ICU.
