Responsibilities
As a Fire Alarm Technician, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring safety and compliance for our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Servicing, testing, inspecting, and troubleshooting fire alarm systems, ranging from basic to complex systems. (Installation skills are a plus but not required.)
- Responding to emergency calls promptly, which may occasionally include nights, weekends, and on-call shifts.
- Coordinating with contractors, customers, building maintenance staff, and office personnel to complete daily tasks efficiently.
- Identifying code and non-compliance issues and offering accurate recommendations for system improvements.
- Committing to the successful troubleshooting and repair of assigned customer systems.
- Upholding high standards of work ethic and attention to detail.
- A high school diploma (industry experience is preferred but not required).
- Extensive knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, fire alarm system theory, OSHA requirements, and industry standards for fire alarm systems.
- Familiarity with systems from manufacturers such as Gamewell-FCI, Siemens, Notifier, Edwards, Simplex, Honeywell, Firelite, and more.

Salary : $30 - $40
