We’re looking for an energetic, dependable leader to join our team as a Shift Manager at Firehouse Subs.

This role is all about leading your crew during shifts, ensuring smooth operations, and delivering outstanding guest experiences — all while developing your leadership skills and working toward career growth within our brand.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support team members to deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service
• Ensure food quality, safety, cleanliness, and brand standards are consistently met
• Train, motivate, and coach team members for peak performance
• Manage shift scheduling, task delegation, and labor control
• Handle guest concerns with professionalism and care
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and waste reduction
• Support sales initiatives, upselling, and community outreach

Position Details

• Workweek: 4–5 days per week (part-time or full-time hours)
• Typical Shift: 6–10 hours, flexible scheduling
• Job Type: Part-time or Full-Time | Hourly | Non-Exempt
• Reports To: Assistant General Manager / General Manager

What We’re Looking For

• Prior restaurant leadership experience (Shift Lead, Supervisor, or similar)
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation (SERV Safe preferred, or ability to obtain)
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
