Responsibilities
- Assist with daily shift operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to company standards
- Support food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining quality and safety standards
- Supervise team members during shifts, providing guidance and motivation to deliver excellent customer service
- Manage cash handling procedures and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Conduct inventory control activities, including stock checks and food safety compliance
- Train new staff members on food handling, customer service, and operational procedures
- Oversee food production, ensuring timely delivery of orders in a quick service or fast food environment
- Support kitchen management by monitoring food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness
- Assist with shift management tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and resolving customer issues
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, including casual dining or quick service settings
- Demonstrated supervising or team management experience within the food industry
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
- Strong understanding of food safety protocols and food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and develop staff effectively
- Culinary experience or kitchen management background is highly desirable
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Hospitality management or hotel experience is a plus but not required
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on training & development and team motivation
- Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes
