Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a friendly and positive attitude

• Restock food and supplies as needed throughout the shift

• Supervision and Leadership: The Shift Leader supervises team members during their shifts, monitoring performance and ensuring adherence to company and safety policies. They delegate tasks appropriately to maintain operational efficiency. 2
• Operational Accountability: This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of the shift, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards. 1
• Customer Service: Shift Leaders are responsible for delivering superior guest service and maintaining the restaurant's reputation for quality and cleanliness. They actively engage with customers to ensure satisfaction. 1
• Training and Development: A significant aspect of the role involves training new employees and providing ongoing support to existing staff to ensure they meet performance standards. 1
• Financial Management: The Shift Leader helps manage food costs, labor, and other controllable expenses to ensure profitability during their shifts. They assist in implementing operational plans and company initiatives. 1

Qualifications
